SERVICE INNOVATION AND NEW BUSINESS MODELS – WEBINAR 1
DATE: 3rd SEPTEMBER 2020
On 3rd September 2020, Project Partners organized the first webinar “Service Innovation and New Business Models” in the Look Eu Net project.
A collective training and coaching activity in which all SMEs participants in Look Eu Net project had the opportunity to participate.
Traditional manufacturing SMEs are normally concentrated on the production and sale of products, an aspect that undermines their competitiveness, threatened by the massification and low-cost competition by companies from non-EU countries.
To tackle this situation, the change in SMEs’ business model, focusing on the introduction of innovative services, is an approach that can positively affect the economic growth of the company.
In order to do this, traditional manufacturing companies must acquire skills to introduce innovative services in their offer, through an adequate methodology and without the need for high economic investments.
The webinar presents:
– Service Innovation or Servitization: introduction and what it is
– International examples of Servitization: business cases, strategies
– Servitization’s main aspects: benefits, critical issues, key points
– Service Innovation Methodology for SMEs: concept, process, tools
